One embodiment of the invention includes a lighting device packaging and delivery system for a partially or completely preassembled and pre-wired luminaire and pole. The packaging and methods allow the unit to be shipped and installed with very little or no assembly required. The unit, or multi-pack of units, may be packaged with all of the required components, such as the photo control and lamp, already installed.
