In a recordable optical disc including at least one recording layer, write strategy information is recorded within disc control information, so that standardized disc control information can be uniformly applied to data recording and reproduction. At least one disc information is recorded as the disc control information within the management area. The disc control informations are recorded for at least one write strategy for a same writing speed and recording layer.

Sur un disque optique enregistrable de cette invention comprenant au moins une couche d'enregistrement, on enregistre des informations de stratégie d'écriture dans les informations de commande de façon à pouvoir appliquer uniformément à l'enregistrement et à la reproduction des données des informations de commande standardisées. On procède à l'enregistrement d'informations telles que des informations de commande dans la zone de gestion du disque optique. Cet enregistrement d'informations de commande est effectué selon au moins une stratégie d'écriture pour une même vitesse d'écriture et une même couche d'enregistrement.
