An apparatus and method for reducing call setup time of a wireless communication device including determining an uplink interference information, including the uplink interference information in a paging message to be sent on a Common Control Channel and sending the paging message on the Common Control Channel. In one aspect, the paging message is received, the uplink interference information from the received paging message is obtained, and a RRC connection request message is sent in response to the received paging message.
L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé permettant de réduire la durée d'établissement des communications d'un dispositif de communication sans fil comprenant la détermination d'informations d'interférences de liaison, l'intégration des informations d'interférences de liaison dans un message de radiomessagerie à envoyer sur un canal de commande commun et l'envoi du message de radiomessagerie sur le canal de commande commun. Selon un aspect de l'invention, le message de radiomessagerie est reçu, les informations d'interférences de liaison provenant du message de radiomessagerie reçu sont obtenues et un message de demande de connexion RRC est envoyé en réponse au message de radiomessagerie reçu.
