A food processor appliance for cutting food articles into a desired form, includes a housing having a feed chute a pusher member for pushing food articles through the feed chute into the housing; a cutter device within the housing mounted for reciprocatory movements transversely across the outlet end of the feed chute for cutting food articles, fed therethrough into the desired form; and an electrical drive unit including an electrical motor removable from the housing to facilitate cleaning the cutting device. The electrical drive, unit includes an interlock electrical switch normally disabling the drive unit but actuatable to enable it, and the feed chute includes an actuator laterally thereof for actuating the interlock electrical switch, and thereby the drive unit when the drive unit is located in its proper position the top wall of the housing.
La présente invention concerne un appareil formant robot de cuisine destiné à découper des aliments dans une forme souhaitée, comprenant un boîtier présentant une goulotte d'alimentation, un élément formant poussoir destiné à pousser les aliments à travers la goulotte d'alimentation dans le boîtier; un dispositif formant couteau à l'intérieur du boîtier monté pour se déplacer suivant un mouvement de va-et-vient de manière transversale à travers l'extrémité de sortie de la goulotte d'alimentation pour couper dans la forme souhaitée les aliments alimentés à travers ladite goulotte; et une unité d'entraînement électrique comprenant un moteur électrique pouvant être retiré du boîtier pour faciliter le nettoyage du dispositif de coupe. L'unité d'entraînement électrique comprend un interrupteur électrique de verrouillage mettant normalement hors service l'unité d'entraînement mais pouvant être actionné pour la mettre en service, et la goulotte d'alimentation comprend un actionneur disposé latéralement par rapport à celle-ci et permettant d'actionner l'interrupteur électrique de verrouillage, et par conséquent l'unité d'entraînement lorsque l'unité d'entraînement se trouve dans sa position appropriée sur la paroi supérieure du boîtier.
