The present invention relates to a combined furnace and air recovery system. The system is comprised of a furnace housing having an inlet opening for connection to a cold air return duct and an outlet opening connected to a heating duct. A negative pressure compartment is located within the housing and is in communication with the inlet opening. A positive pressure compartment is also located within the housing and is in communication with the outlet opening. A fan is provided, communicating between the negative pressure compartment and the positive pressure compartment a heating unit is located within the positive pressure compartment. An air-to-air heat exchange unit is provided having first and second air flow paths, wherein the first air flow path connects an exterior inlet duct to the negative pressure chamber to provide a supply of fresh air to the negative pressure chamber and the second air flow path connects the positive pressure chamber to an exterior outlet duct to provide for exhausting stale air from said positive pressure chamber.
La présente invention a pour objet un système combinant des fonctions de chauffage et de recyclage d'air. Le système est composé d'une enveloppe abritant un générateur d'air chaud et comportant un orifice d'admission raccordé à un conduit de reprise d'air froid et un orifice de sortie raccordé à un conduit de chauffage. Une chambre de dépression est aménagée à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe et placée en communication avec l'orifice d'admission. Une chambre à pression positive est également aménagée à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe et placée en communication avec l'orifice de sortie. Un ventilateur est placé en communication avec la chambre de dépression et la chambre à pression positive et un appareil de chauffage est monté à l'intérieur de la chambre à pression positive. Le système comporte un échangeur de température air/air avec deux voies d'écoulement d'air, la première voie d'écoulement allant du conduit d'entrée de l'extérieur à la chambre de dépression et assurant une arrivée d'air frais dans la chambre de dépression; la deuxième voie d'écoulement, allant de la chambre de pression positive à un conduit de sortie, assure l'évacuation de l'air vicié.
