An apparatus for holding an aerosol spray paint can to paint holes in golf putting greens comprises a ground engaging member and a rotatable member mounted on the ground engaging member in selectively rotatable relation. A spray paint can holder is mounted on the rotatable member. A nozzle engaging member is mounted on the rotatable member for receiving the nozzle of the inverted aerosol spray paint can in supported relation to thereby permit actuation of the nozzle of the spray paint can when the spray paint can is pushed downwardly, thereby causing paint to spray from the nozzle. The inverted aerosol spray paint can extends downwardly through apertures in the rotatable member and the ground engaging member such that the nozzle is below the level of the ground engaging member, to thereby permit spray painting of the top portion of the hole in the golf putting green.
