A multilayer film generally includes: a) a first, exterior layer comprising a polypropylene homopolymer or copolymer; and b) a second layer in adherence with the first layer, the second layer comprising a homogeneous ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer having a density of less than or equal to 0.92 grams per cubic centimeter. Such multilayer film is advantageously used in various food-packaging applications because of its excellent heat-sealability as well as flex-crack and pin-hole resistance.
