A circuit breaker includes a housing; separable contacts housed by the housing; an operating mechanism, for moving the separable contacts between a closed position and an open position thereof, having a first position and a second position corresponding to the open position; a latching and releasing mechanism for latching the operating mechanism in the first position thereof and for releasing the operating mechanism to the second position thereof; a rotatable trip bar rotatable in a first rotational direction and a second rotational direction for unlatching the latching and releasing mechanism; a sensing mechanism for sensing an electrical condition associated with the separable contacts and for moving the trip bar in the secondrotational direction in order to unlatch the latching and releasing mechanism, release the operating mechanism to the second position thereof, and move the separable contacts to the open position thereof; and an adjustable bias spring for biasing the trip bar in the first rotational direction.
L?invention concerne un disjoncteur comportant les éléments suivants : un boîtier; des contacts séparables logés dans le boîtier; un mécanisme de manoeuvre pour déplacer les contacts séparables entre une position fermée et une position ouverte, ayant une première position et une seconde position correspondant à la position ouverte; un mécanisme de verrouillage et de dégagement servant à verrouiller le mécanisme de manoeuvre dans sa première position et à le dégager vers sa deuxième position; un déclencheur rotatif pouvant tourner dans un premier sens et dans un deuxième sens pour déverrouiller le mécanisme de verrouillage et de dégagement; un mécanisme de détection servant à capter un état électrique associé aux contacts séparables et à faire tourner le déclencheur dans le deuxième sens de rotation de manière à déverrouiller le mécanisme de verrouillage et de dégagement, à dégager le mécanisme de manoeuvre vers sa deuxième position et à déplacer les contacts séparables vers leur position ouverte; un ressort réglable servant à repousser le déclencheur dans le premier sens de rotation.
