A method and system (16) for incorporating previously broadcast content into a program recording. The method includes receiving a broadcast containing a program and automatically recording the broadcast at the start of the program to store a first portion of the program in a first storage area (92). Space is allocated within a second storage area (94) after the start of the program upon receiving a record command from a viewer. A second portion of the program is recorded in the allocated space of the second storage area (94) and the first and second portions of the program are combined within the second storage area (94) to create a recording of the program.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système d'insertion de contenu diffusé préalablement dans un enregistrement de programme. Ce procédé consiste à recevoir une émission contenant un programme et à enregistrer automatiquement l'émission au début du programme afin d'enregistrer une première partie du programme dans une première zone de mémoire. De l'espace est attribué dans une seconde zone de mémoire après le début du programme, lors de la réception d'un ordre d'enregistrement provenant d'un téléspectateur. Une seconde partie du programme est enregistrée dans l'espace attribué de la seconde zone de mémoire et la première partie et la seconde partie du programme sont combinées dans la seconde zone de mémoire pour créer un enregistrement du programme.
