A B S T R A C T A packaging support system is described for receiving and supporting a pliant tray of baking cups and for maintaining the integrity of such cups when such systems are in stacking arrangement. The system comprises a blank of cardboard material having a center top panel with a plurality of spaced apart openings, each capable of receiving and nesting a baking cup therein. A pair of opposite side walls and opposite end walls along the top panel may be folded perpendicular to the top panel and thereby define upright support walls for the panel.
