Description

A method of treating HIV infection comprises administering to a patient a regimen that is able to shut down the immune system in a controlled manner by using T-cell depletion or T-cell modification such that T-cells no longer can be attacked by HIV cells. The T-cell depletor or T-cell modifiers ate administered either alone or in combination with "conventional" anti-HIV drugs.

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de l'infection à VIH, qui consiste à administrer au patient un schéma posologique capable de fermer le système immunitaire de manière contrôlée par le recours à l'appauvrissement des lymphocytes T ou à leur modification de façon que ces lymphocytes T ne soient plus attaqués par les cellules du VIH. L'agent d'appauvrissement ou les modificateurs de lymphocytes T sont administrés seuls ou en combinaison avec des médicaments anti-VIH "classiques".
