An apparatus for cooling an enclosure provided. The enclo-sure has at least one opening for receiving cool air and discharging heated air. The apparatus includes a vortex tube with a first end for discharging warm air and a second end for discharging cool air. The apparatus further includes an inlet between the ends of the vortex tube for directing com-pressed air tangentially into the interior of the vortex tube. A first housing covers the first end of the vortex tube and creates a space through which warm air is channelled to the exterior. The vortex tube is connected by an attachment to the opening of the enclosure so that the vortex tube can dis-charge cool air into the interior of the enclosure. The apparatus further in-cludes an air outlet conduit at an end of the attachment to facilitate dis-charge of heated air for the enclosure. Also, the apparatus includes at least one barrier that permits the outflow of warm air from the first housing and heated air from the air outlet conduit while blocking the inflow of moisture and other substances.
Linvention concerne un appareil permettant de refroidir une enceinte. Lenceinte présente au moins une ouverture pour recevoir de l'air froid et évacuer de l'air chauffé. Lappareil comprend un tube vortex doté dune première extrémité destinée à évacuer lair chaud et une seconde extrémité destinée à évacuer lair froid. Lappareil possède également une entrée entre les extrémités du tube vortex pour diriger l'air comprimé tangentiellement dans lintérieur du tube vortex. Un premier boîtier recouvre la première extrémité du tube vortex et crée un espace à travers lequel l'air chaud est acheminé vers l'extérieur. Le tube vortex est relié à louverture de lenceinte par une fixation afin que le tube vortex puisse évacuer lair froid dans lintérieur de lenceinte. Lappareil comprend en outre un conduit de sortie dair à une extrémité de la fixation pour faciliter lévacuation d lair chauffé pour lenceinte. L'appareil présente également au moins une barrière qui permet la sortie dair chaud du premier boîtier et dair chauffé du conduit de sortie dair tout en bloquant l'entrée d'humidité et d'autres substances.
