Compositions are described which comprise (a) 20-75% by weight of a vinyl chloride homopolymer (PVC), (b) 80-25% by weight of ABS, (c) at least one organotin compound from the class of the organotin mercaptides, organotin sulfides and/or organotin carboxylates, and (d) at least one oxide and/or hydroxide of an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal. These compositions exhibit improved thermal and mechanical stability and can be processed with particular success by the injection moulding technique.
