A method of installing a drilling tool at a lower end of a string of casing suspended in a borehole employs a setting tool run by wireline. The setting tool is latched to a drilling tool connected a drill lock assembly. After landing in a profile sub at the lower end of the casing, fluid pressure is applied to the interior of the string of casing to actuate the setting tool. The setting tool moves to latch the drill lock assembly to the sub so that torque may be transmitted between the profile sub and the drill lock assembly. The setting tool movement also releases the setting tool from the drill lock assembly for retrieval.
L'invention divulgue un procédé d'installation d'un outil de forage à une extrémité inférieure d'une colonne de tubage suspendue dans un trou de forage qui utilise un outil de réglage actionné par un câble métallique. L'outil de réglage est verrouillé sur un outil de forage qui est connecté à un ensemble de verrou de foret. Une fois placé dans un raccord profilé à l'extrémité inférieure du tubage, une pression de fluide est appliquée à l'intérieur de la colonne de tubage pour actionner l'outil de réglage. L'outil de réglage se déplace pour verrouiller l'ensemble de verrou de foret sur le raccord de telle sorte qu'un couple puisse être transmis entre le raccord profilé et l'ensemble de verrou de foret. Le déplacement de l'outil de réglage libère aussi l'outil de réglage de l'ensemble de verrou de foret en vue de sa récupération.
