The invention relates to a distance member (1) for a tooth implant anchored in the jaw, which distance member comprises, on the one hand, a sleeve-shaped element (5) which is designed to connect with the shoulder part of the securing element (fixture) (2) of the tooth implant and, on the other hand, a distance screw (7) provided with an externally threaded part (8) for engaging in a bore (9) in the upper part of the fixture for anchoring the sleeve-shaped distance element (5) on the fixture (2). The distance screw (7) is provided with an upper bore (25) for securing of a cap (4) embedded in the prosthesis construction. The upper part of the distance member is designed to be accommodated within a conical, upwardly narrowing delimiting surface defined by the said cap (4). The upper part (17) of the sleeve-shaped element has a conical peripheral surface (18) with an engagement part (14) designed to cooperate with a tubular counterstay (29) in a fitting tool, and the distance screw (7) also has a conical peripheral surface which forms an extension of the conical upper part (17) of the sleeve-shaped element, and which has an external engagement part designed to cooperate with a second part, a tightener (27) in the fitting tool. The design of the distance member permits a low distance height and facilitates handling.

L'élément comprend, d'une part, une partie en forme de manchon (5) conçue afin de se raccorder à l'épaulement de l'élément de fixation (2) de l'implant dentaire, et, d'autre part, une vis d'écartement (7) munie d'une partie extérieure filetée (8) qui s'engage dans un alésage (9) de la partie supérieure de l'élément de fixation pour ancrer la partie en forme de manchon (5) à l'élément de fixation (2). La vis d'écartement (7) comprend un alésage supérieur (25) afin d'y fixer une chape (4) encastrée dans la prothèse. La partie supérieure de l'élément d'écartement est conçue pour s'adapter à l'intérieur d'une surface conique se rétrécissant à la verticale, définie par la chape (4). La partie supérieure (17) du manchon comprend une surface périphérique conique (18) avec une partie d'engagement (14) conçue de façon à coopérer avec un support tubulaire (29) dans un outil d'insertion. La vis d'écartement (7) comprend également une surface périphérique conique qui forme un prolongement de la partie supérieure conique (17) de la partie en forme de manchon, et qui comprend une partie d'engagement externe conçue de façon à coopérer avec une deuxième partie, un tendeur (27) dans l'outil d'insertion. La conception de l'élément d'écartement permet une hauteur d'écartement basse et facilite la manipulation.
