The invention relates to a method for vending food products in food outlets. The method includes the steps of providing a heating cavity having thermal conductive heating surfaces; placing a container including the food product into the heating cavity, the container engaging at least a first and second surfaces of the thermal conductive heating surfaces; resistively energizing the heating surfaces for heating the food product through conduction of thermal energy to produce a heated food product; and opening the container and serving the heated food product. The invention also relates to a compact and space saving apparatus.

Cette invention concerne un procédé de distribution de produits alimentaires dans des magasins d'alimentation. Ce procédé comprend les étapes consistant : à utiliser une cavité de réchauffage comportant des surfaces chauffantes à conductibilité thermique ; à placer un récipient contenant le produit alimentaire dans cette cavité de réchauffage, le récipient étant en contact avec au moins une première et une deuxième surface chauffante à conductibilité thermique ; à mettre sous tension par résistance les surfaces chauffantes afin de réchauffer le produit alimentaire par conduction d'énergie thermique afin d'obtenir un produit alimentaire réchauffé ; et à ouvrir le récipient et à servir le produit alimentaire réchauffé. Cette invention concerne également un appareil compact et à encombrement réduit.
