A method and composition for controlling fossorial rodents are disclosed. The composition is a mixture of water, a foaming agent and a respiratory irritant. The respiratory irritant is preferably finely ground white mustard seeds. The mixture is aerated through a nozzle and pumped into the rodent burrow to exterminate the resident rodent.

Cette invention a trait à une technique de lutte contre des rongeurs fouisseurs et à la composition correspondante. Cette dernière est un mélange d'eau, d'agent moussant et d'un irritant respiratoire. Cet irritant est, de préférence, finement moulu avec des graines de moutarde. Le mélange est transformé en aérosol à l'aide d'une tuyère et envoyé dans le terrier du rongeur afin d'en tuer l'occupant.
