An apparatus and seismic method for producing a shock wave in a oil well borehole (Fig. 1), with a pumping unit arranged at the wellhead, a tubing string (35), extending downward into the production casing of the well, a hollow cylinder assembly (27), connected with the bottom of the tube string, a pair of plungers arranged within the cylinder assembly and connected with the pumping unit with sucker robs and a polish rod for compressing liquid contained within the cylinder assembly and discharging the compressed liquid into the production casing, thereby generating a shock wave. The cylinder assembly includes an upper cylinder (24), a lower cylinder below the upper cylinder, a crossover cylinder below the upper and lower cylinders, and a compression chamber cylinder containing arranged between the crossover cylinder and the upper cylinder (fig 1). The lower cylinder is adapted to receive the lower plunger and the upper cylinder is adapted to receive the upper plunger. The lower plunger has a larger diameter than the upper plunger, and the plunger movement effects the volume of the compression chamber by reduction, the liquid contained therein becomes compressed and is discharged on the down stroke into the well. In addition remote seismic data is collected and processed (Fig 8), from remote well locations.
L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé sismique permettant de produire d'une onde de choc dans le trou de forage d'un puits de pétrole (fig. 1), muni d'un module de pompage situé en tête de puits, d'une colonne (35) s'étendant vers le bas dans la gaine de production du puits, d'un cylindre creux (27), relié à la base de ladite colonne, d'une paire de pistons situés à l'intérieur de l'ensemble cylindre et reliés au module de pompage au moyen de tiges de pompages et d'une tige à polir permettant de comprimer le liquide contenu dans le cylindre et de décharger le liquide comprimé dans la gaine de production, générant ainsi une onde de choc. L'ensemble cylindre comprend un cylindre supérieur (24), un cylindre inférieur, en dessous de ce dernier, un cylindre de raccord en dessous des cylindres supérieur et inférieur, et un cylindre à chambre de compression contenant une chambre de compression placée le cylindre de raccord et le cylindre supérieur (fig. 1). Le cylindre inférieur est conçu pour recevoir le piston inférieur, le cylindre supérieur étant conçu pour recevoir le piston supérieur. Le piston inférieur possède un plus petit diamètre que le piston supérieur, et son déplacement agit sur le volume de la chambre de compression, en le réduisant, comprimant ainsi le liquide qu'elle contient et déchargeant ce dernier dans le puits lors de la descente du piston. En outre, des données sismiques distantes sont recueillies et traitées (fig. 8) à partir des emplacements de puits distants.
