The invention relates to a free jet centrifuge, especially for cleaning the lubricating oil of an internal combustion engine. The aim of the invention is to provide a centrifuge which is economical to produce and at the same time allows for high speeds. To this end the invention on one side of the rotor provides for a ball bearing (16) in the housing, which engages a closed shaft journal (14) of the rotor. In the area of this bearing the rotor is sealed so that the friction in the ball bearing is not raised by the oil pressure in the centrifuge. A slide bearing is provided for on the other side of the rotor which consists of a bearing bushing (20) and a sliding bush (21). In this way a combination of materials which is optimal in terms of tribological properties can be selected. A hollow journal (19) which also acts as oil inlet (24) for the centrifuge rotor is inserted into the sliding bush. To increase speed even further the invention provides for a pulse channel (30) which discharges into nozzles (31). This device is integrated into a plastic base of the rotor (13) which permits the production of highly precise input nozzles (31).

L'invention concerne une centrifugeuse à jet libre destinée notamment au nettoyage de l'huile de lubrification d'un moteur à combustion interne. Cette centrifugeuse doit être de fabrication économique et simultanément permettre des vitesses de rotation élevées. Pour ce faire, un palier à roulement (16) est placé dans le carter, sur un côté du rotor, et une butée lisse (14) du rotor s'accroche à ce palier. Dans la zone de ce support, le rotor est étanchéifié de telle façon que la pression d'huile régnant dans la centrifugeuse n'augmente pas le frottement généré dans le palier à roulement. Un palier lisse, placé de l'autre côté du rotor, est composé d'une douille palier (20) et d'une douille de glissement (21). Ainsi on peut choisir un appariement optimal de matériaux en termes de propriétés tribologiques. Un tourillon creux (19) est inséré dans la douille de glissement et sert simultanément d'entrée d'huile (24) pour le rotor de la centrifugeuse. Pour augmenter davantage la vitesse de rotation, un canal d'impulsion (30) aboutit dans des buses (31), cet équipement étant intégré à un fond en plastique du rotor (13), ce qui permet de fabriquer des buses d'entraînement (31) d'une grande précision.
