A material stability test kit (50) has a container (51) which can be closed and sealed by a screw-on cover (52) after insertion of a test sample (26) together with a chemical humidifier (53) for generating a desired humidity within the container (51). The container (51) is of two part construction comprising an outer container (54) within which is nested a smaller inner container (55) supporting the test sample (26). The containers (54, 55) are of transparent material to allow viewing and inspection of the test sample (26) without removing the test sample from the container (51) which would disturb the desired climate condition generated within the container (51) by the humidifier (53). The humidifier (53) comprises a perforated receptacle (80) containing a saturated or non-saturated salt solution.

Cette invention se rapporte à un kit de test de stabilité de matériaux (50), qui comprend un récipient (51) pouvant être fermé et scellé par un couvercle vissé (52) après introduction d'un échantillon à tester (26) conjointement avec un humidificateur chimique (53) destiné à produire une humidité souhaitée dans le récipient (51). Le récipient (51) est constitué par une structure en deux parties comprenant un récipient externe (54) dans lequel vient se loger un récipient interne plus petit (55) renfermant l'échantillon à tester (26). Les récipients (54, 55) sont en matériau transparent pour permettre l'observation et l'inspection de l'échantillon à tester, sans qu'il soit nécessaire de retirer l'échantillon à tester du récipient (51), ce qui viendrait perturber les conditions ambiantes souhaitées produites à l'intérieur du récipient par l'humidificateur (53). L'humidificateur (53) comprend un réceptacle perforé (80) contenant une solution saline saturée ou non saturée.
