An interlocking trailer load strap fastening system provides a strap fastener carried by the end of a load securing strap and a fixed fastener carried by a flatbed trailer. The strap fastener may be attached to the fixed fastener only when the strap fastener is precisely rotated. The strap fastener provides a body having left and right side elements and upper and lower cross members and a curved base, together defining an upper strap opening where a load strap may be secured, and a first hook opening.
