The star quad network of the invention comprises a distributing centre (7) to which are connected by cable (C1 to CN) subscribers each having a remotely controlled terminal (P). The centre comprises a video bus (8) connected to the different programme sources (S1 to SM), whereby said bus is connected to selection modules (M1 to MN) whose number is equal to that of the subscribers and which are remotely controlled by the latter. A micro-computer (10) monitors the uniformity of the connections established.
ABREGE DESCRIPTIF RESEAU DE DISTRIBUTION INTERACTIVE D'INFORMATIONS VIDEO, AUDIO ET TELEMATIQUES Le réseau de l'invention, du type à câblage en étoile, comporte un centre distributeur (7) auquel sont reliés par câble (C1 à CN) des abonnés disposant chacun d'un poste de télécommande (P). Le centre comporte un bus vidéo (8) relié aux différentes sources de programmes (S1 à SM), ce bus étant relié à des modules de sélection (M1 à MN) dont le nombre est égal à celui des abonnés et qui sont télécommandés par ces abonnés. Un micro-ordinateur ( 10) contrôle la régularité des connections établies. Figure 2
