The invention relates to milking of animals by means of a movable floor (101) on which the animals are milked in milking spaces (102) and onto which floor (101) they enter and exit via automatic gates. The invention involves automatic adjustment of the speed of the movable floor (101) first on basis of an estimated milking time of the animals presently in a so-called milk flow mode, i.e. attached to a milking unit (103), and second on basis of whether milking units (103) have been attached to the animals before leaving an attachment zone (104), i.e. the area where milking units (103) are attached to the animals, either manually or automatically by means of a milking robot. The speed of the movable floor (101) is primarily adjusted with the aim at optimising the occupancy rate of the implement for milking animals with respect to the first condition. However, the second condition places a constraint on when a speed increase is permitted. An animal may namely not leave the attachment zone (104) without being attached to a milking unit (103).

L'invention concerne la traite d'animaux à l'aide d'un sol mobile (101) sur lequel les animaux sont traits dans des stalles de traite (102). Les animaux entrent sur ce sol (101) et sortent par des barrières automatiques. L'invention concerne également le réglage automatique de la vitesse du sol mobile (101) d'abord sur la base d'un temps de traite estimé des animaux dans un mode dit <= flux de lait >= (milk flow), ces animaux étant notamment attachés àune unité de traite (103), puis selon que des unités de traite (103) ont été ou non attachées aux animaux avant qu'ils ne quittent une zone d'attache (104), notamment la zone où les unités de traite (103) sont attachées aux animaux, soit manuellement ou automatiquement à l'aide d'un robot de traite. Il s'agit dans un premier temps d'ajuster la vitesse du sol mobile (101) pour optimiser le taux d'occupation de l'installation de traite d'animaux et, dans un deuxième temps, de savoir à quel moment la vitesse peut être augmentée. Un animal ne peut pas quitter la zone d'attache (104) s'il n'est pas attaché à une unité de traite (103).
