A method of screening a compound, which is capable of changing the binding property of neuromedin U or its salt to FM-3 or its salt, or a salt thereof characterized by using neuromedin U, its derivative or its salt and FM-3 or its salt. This method is usable in screening preventives and remedies for hypertension, stress diseases, etc. An FM-3 antagonist is useful as a preventive and a remedy for hypertension, stress diseases and the like.

L'invention concerne un composé de criblage d'un composé -ou d'un sel de celui-ci- permettant de changer la propriété de liaison de la neuromédine U, ou du sel de celle-ci, en FM-3 ou en sel de celui-ci. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'on utilise la neuromédine U, le dérivé ou sel de celle-ci et FM-3 ou le sel de celui-ci. On peut utiliser ce procédé pour cribler des médicaments de prévention et de traitement de l'hypertension, des maladies du stress, etc... L'invention concerne encore un antagoniste de FM-3, utile en tant que médicament de prévention et de traitement de l'hypertension, des maladies du stress et analogue.
