This invention is a removable basketball backboard cover (20) adapted to fit on a bas- ketball backboard (11). The cover comprises a central portion (22) and a leading edge por- tion (26). The central portion is adapted to extend across a front face (12) of a basketball backboard and has an opening (24) through which a rim (16) on the front face of the back- board projects. The leading edge portion of the removable cover is adapted to extend across a portion of the back face (14) of the back- board. The central portion of the removable cover preferably displays indicia (30) such as advertising or other promotional material.

L'invention concerne une housse amovible (20), pour couvrir un panneau de basket-ball (11). La housse comporte une portion centrale (22) et une portion de bord avant (26).
