The invention relates to a method of obtaining an antibody with a desired function, the method comprising: a) bringing a population of B cells into contact with a capturing agent; b) separating the captured B cells from the uncaptured B cells; c) culturing a plurality of captured B cells wherein said B cells have not been sorted into single B cells immediately prior to culturing; d) screening a plurality of the cultured cells to identify cells capable of producing an antibody with the desired function; and e) obtaining the desired antibody therefrom.

L'invention concerne une méthode d'obtention d'un anticorps ayant une fonction voulue, la méthode consistant : (a) à mettre une population de lymphocytes B en contact avec un agent de capture ; (b) à séparer les lymphocytes B capturés des lymphocytes B non capturés ; (c) à mettre en culture une pluralité de lymphocytes B capturés dans laquelle lesdits lymphocytes B non pas été triés en lymphocytes B individuels immédiatement avant la mise en culture ; (d) à cribler une pluralité des cellules de mise en culture afin d'identifier des cellules capables de produire un anticorps ayant la fonction voulue ; et (e) à obtenir l'anticorps voulu à partir desdites cellules.
