ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a pressure sensi- tive adhesive compositions which include a neutralized sulfonated copolymer of a conjugated diene/a neutra- lized styrene sulfonate, wherein the neutralized sulfonated copolymer has 5 to 50 meq. of neutralized sulfonate groups per 100 grams of the neutralized sulfonated copolymer and less than 250 parts by weight of a hydrocarbon resin of a petroleum or coal tar distillate, having 5 to 6 carbon atoms, the hydrocarbon resin being composed of aliphatic dienes and mono- olefins per 100 parts by weight of the neutralized sulfonated copolymer.
