The invention relates to a surgical nail (1) in the form of an intramedullary nail, said nail comprising a central axis (2) and a transversal borehole which extends transversally to the central axis (2) and has a cross-sectional profile F and a transversal axis (4). In the direction of the central axis, the cross-sectional profile has a maximum length a and a maximum width b which are perpendicular to each other. Said intramedullary nail has a diameter D in the region of the transversal borehole (3) and is provided with an insert (10) which can be introduced into the transversal borehole (3) and comprises the longitudinal axis (13), said insert (10) also containing a longitudinal slit (15).

La présente invention concerne un clou chirurgical (1) se présentant sous forme d'un clou centro-médullaire. Ce clou présente un axe central (2) et un alésage transversal (3) qui s'étend de manière transversale à cet axe central (2) et qui présente le profil de section transversale F et un axe transversal (4). Le profil de section transversale F présente dans la direction de l'axe central une longueur maximale a et, perpendiculairement à celle-ci, une largeur maximale b.
