A method for providing a data service in a CDMA communications system including the steps of; sending, at a base station, first charging data channel information to a plurality of mobile stations on a paging channel; detecting, at specified mobile stations of the plurality of mobile stations, the paging channel to detect the first charging data channel information; sending, at one of the specified mobile stations, a corresponding ID code to the base station on an access channel to request a charging data service; receiving, at the base station, a charging data service request message from the specified mobile station and sending second charging data channel information to the specified mobile station on the paging channel; detecting, at the specified mobile station, the second charging data channel information from the paging channel and sending a charging data service request confirm message to the base station on the access channel; and sending, at the base station, charging data to the specified mobile station on the corresponding charging data channel and, upon receiving the charging data at the specified mobile station, sending billing information for the charging data to the base station on the charging data channel.
L'invention concerne un procédé fournissant un service de transmission de données dans un système AMDC. Ce procédé consiste: à envoyer d'une station de base (BS) à plusieurs stations mobiles (MS) une première série d'informations relatives à un canal de transmission de données payantes, par l'intermédiaire d'un canal de recherche; à détecter ce canal de recherche au niveau de certaines des stations mobiles susmentionnées, afin de pouvoir détecter du même coup la première série d'informations relatives au canal de transmission de données payantes; à envoyer à ladite station de base un code d'identification correspondant depuis l'une des stations mobiles par l'intermédiaire d'un canal d'accès, afin de demander un service de transmission de données payantes; à recevoir, au niveau de la station de base, un message de demande d'un service de transmission de données payantes émis par l'une des station mobiles, puis à envoyer à cette station mobile une seconde série d'informations relatives à un canal de transmission de données payantes, par l'intermédiaire du canal de recherche; à détecter, au niveau de l'une desdites stations mobiles, cette seconde série d'informations relatives à un canal de transmission de données payantes émise par ledit canal de recherche, puis à envoyer un message de confirmation de demande d'un service de transmission de données payantes à la station de base, par l'intermédiaire dudit canal d'accès; et enfin à envoyer les données payantes de cette station de base à l'une des stations mobiles par l'intermédiaire du canal de transmission des données payantes correspondant. Une fois que la station mobile reçoit ces données payantes, ce procédé consiste finalement à envoyer les informations de facturation relatives auxdites données payantes à la station de base, par l'intermédiaire du canal de transmission des données payantes.
