ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE SCAFFOLDING SUPPORT SYSTEM A scaffolding support arrangement includes a main horizontal support bar for receiving planking thereon on which a user can stand. One end of the support bar rests against the vertical surface such as a wall. The other end of the support bar is supported by an A-frame construction including a pair of outwardly diverging legs. The legs are interconnected by a cross bar. A pair of braces extend from a respective leg upwardly and rearwardly toward the support bar. The top of the legs and the top of the braces are coupled to the support bar by a hinge coupling in the form of a U- shaped pin which allows swivel action about two directions to allow the legs to fold inwardly and then the support bar to fold downwardly so that all lie closely adjacent for simple transportation. The braces and the cross bar can fold upwardly in the folding action. Two designs of foot are shown and also extension portions are available to increase the length of the support bar on the legs.
