A thru-tubing retrievable whipstock is disclosed. A running tool createsrelative movement to pivot out anchors at the lower end of the whipstock to accomplish its support. The setting force is trapped by spring-loaded wedges. The whipstockcan be released and retrieved through tubing by undermining the wedges which allows retrieval of the whipstock by a pick-up force on the whipstock which collapses the anchoring mechanism for retrieval of the entire assembly to the surface.

Un outil de pose crée un mouvement relatif pour faire pivoter vers l'extérieur des ancrages à l'extrémité inférieure du sifflet déviateur, afin de lui servir de support. La force de mise en place est emmagasinée par des coins à ressort. Le sifflet déviateur peut être libéré et récupéré en passant par le tubage en soulevant les coins, ce qui permet sa récupération grâce à l'application d'une force de repêchage qui s'exerce sur lui. Cette force provoque la rentrée du mécanisme d'ancrage pour permettre ainsi la récupération du dispositif complet jusqu'à la surface.
