An ostomy appliance comprising a body side member comprising an adhesive wafer or pad for securing the appliance to the user's skin, said wafer or pad having a hole for receiving a stoma, and a separately exchangeable receiving bag secured to the body side ostomy member for receiving secretions from the ostomy, wherein the body side member comprises a first substantially annular first flange connected to the base plate via a first connecting section and the receiving bag comprises a second substantially annular second flange which is connected to the collecting bag via a substantially annular second connecting section and is designed for removable and adhesive connection with said first flange wherein the first and the second flanges are connected with the base plate and the collecting bag, respectively, in such a manner that the outer radius of said second connecting section exceeds the outer radius of said first connecting section by a value which at least equals the total thickness of the first and the second flanges and the adhesive connection between the collecting bag and the carrier device is provided by a layer of adhesive applied on said second flange and capable of repeated adhesion with the first flange, and the first and the second flanges are made from a flexible and resilient material, and wherein the second flange has perforations in an essentially circular zone corresponding to or larger than the outer radius of said first connecting section reduces the risk of leakage and also reduces the necessary cleaning when substituting the receiving bag.
L'invention porte sur un accessoire de stomie muni d'un élément latéral de corps constitué d'une plaquette (ou tampon) adhésive pour fixer l'accessoire à la peau de l'usager, ladite plaquette (ou tampon) adhésive comportant un orifice servant à recevoir une stomie, et d'une poche de recueil séparée remplaçable fixée à l'élément latéral de corps pour recevoir les sécrétions de la stomie. L'élément latéral de corps comprend une première bride sensiblement annulaire fixée à la semelle par l'intermédiaire d'une première section de rattachement. La poche de recueil comprend une deuxième bride sensiblement annulaire fixée à la poche de recueil par l'intermédiaire d'une deuxième section de rattachement sensiblement annulaire. La poche de recueil est conçue pour assurer une fixation adhésive amovible avec ladite première bride. La première et la deuxième brides sont fixées à la semelle et à la poche de recueil, respectivement, si bien que le rayon extérieur de la deuxième section de rattachement est supérieur au rayon extérieur de la première section de rattachement par une valeur au moins égale à l'épaisseur totale de la première et de la deuxième brides, et que la fixation adhésive entre la poche de recueil et le dispositif de support est constituée par une couche d'adhésif posée sur la deuxième bride et pouvant être fixée plusieurs fois à la première bride. La première et la deuxième brides sont faites d'un matériau souple et élastique. La deuxième bride comporte des perforations dans une zone sensiblement circulaire correspondant au rayon extérieur de la première section de rattachement ou supérieure à celle-ci, ce qui réduit le risque de fuites et diminue le nettoyage nécessaire pendant le remplacement de la poche de recueil.
