METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PRESSURE VESSELS Abstract of the Disclosure Previously aluminum pressure vessels have been formed from tubes of uniform thickness. The invention provides a method of manufacturing aluminum pressure vessels having at least one threaded neck, comprising: a) using a flow forming method to provide a blank having greater wall thickness adjacent the ends thereof than in the centre; b) forming hemispherical ends on said blank; and c) forming a threaded neck.
