The device relates to a treatment cylinder (1) in which one extremity (E) that is to be treated for a peripheral circulatory disorder is placed and subjected to hyper and hypobar phases. Said treatment cylinder has one end (B) which is hermetically closed and supports a sleeve (C) on the other end (A). Said sleeve consists of a thick-walled rubber disk (4) with flat sides that are covered by thin-walled, highly elastic rubber membranes (6). The rubber disk and membranes are provided with openings (5, 8, 9), whereby the diameters of the openings (8,9) of the rubber membranes (6,7) are smaller than the diameters of the opening (5) of the rubber disk (4). When the pressure changes in the treatment cylinder (1), the rubber membranes (6,7) adapt to the form of the extremity to be treated (E) to create a sleeve effect and close the end of treatment cylinder (1) in such a way that the intensity of the pressure variation can be achieved and kept constant during a specific time period without having to inflate the sleeve (C). This solution prevents the venous return to the heart from becoming blocked for the entire duration of treatment.
L'invention concerne un appareil comprenant un cylindre de traitement (1) dans lequel est placée une extrémité à traiter (E) pour des troubles circulatoires périphériques et qui est soumise à des phases hyperbares et à des phases hypobares. Ce cylindre de traitement comporte une extrémité (B) fermée hermétiquement et porte à l'autre extrémité (A), une manchette (C) formée d'un disque en caoutchouc (4) à paroi épaisse, recouvert sur ses faces plates, de membranes en caoutchouc (6, 7) extrêmement élastiques et à fine paroi. Le disque en caoutchouc et les membranes en caoutchouc sont munis d'ouvertures (5, 8, 9). Le diamètre des ouvertures (8, 9) des membranes en caoutchouc (6, 7) est inférieur à celui de l'ouverture (5) du disque en caoutchouc (4), si bien que lorsque la pression change dans le cylindre de traitement (1), les membranes en caoutchouc (6, 7) épousent dans une telle mesure la forme de l'extrémité à traiter (E) qu'elles induisent un effet de manchette et ferment le cylindre de traitement (1) à l'extrémité (A), de sorte que l'intensité de la variation de pression puisse être atteinte et maintenue constante pendant une durée prédéterminée, sans qu'il ne soit nécessaire de regonfler la manchette. Cette solution permet d'éviter un blocage du reflux veineux en direction du coeur pendant toute la durée de l'opération de traitement.
