A convertible carrying bag/envelope (10) suitable for carrying and shipping printed materials and other items. The bag/envelope provides a handle (14) thatmay be used to carry the bag/envelope while allowing items to be placed into or removed from the interior of the bag. The bag/envelope provides an exterior flap (16) that is operative for sealing the bag, on which delivery indicia are printed, so that it may be shipped via a small package delivery service. To prepare the bag for shipping, the handle is folded into the interior of the bag. The flap is then extended across the opening and affixed to the opposite panel using the pressure- sensitive adhesive (34) provided on the flap.
L'invention concerne un porte-documents/enveloppe (12) adapté au transport et à l'expédition de documents imprimés ou d'objets similaires. Ce porte-documents/enveloppe comporte une poignée (14) permettant de porter le porte-documents/enveloppe tout en conservant la possibilité de mettre des objets dans le porte-documents ou de les en retirer. Le porte-documents/enveloppe comporte un rabat extérieur (16) qui permet de fermer de façon étanche le porte-documents, sur lequel une étiquette de destinataire d'expédition est imprimée. Cela permet d'expédier le porte-documents par courrier. Pour préparer le porte-documents en vue de l'expédition, il suffit de replier la poignée à l'intérieur du porte-documents. Le rabat est alors déplié au travers de l'ouverture et fixé au moyen de la fermeture autocollante (34) dont est muni le rabat.
