The invention relates to a device for influencing the flow-through of plastic material which is heated such that it can flow through a housing (1), especially a filter device or a reversing device for the plastic material. The inventive device comprises a flow-through channel (2) which passes through the housing (1), and a piston (8) with a circular cross-section which, in a boring (7) of the housing (1), can be longitudinally displaced in a transversal manner with regard to the longitudinal direction of the flow-through channel (2). The piston (8) traverses the flow-through channel (2). An unslotted scraper ring is placed outside the housing (1) on a piston section (19) which projects out of said housing (1). Said scraper ring is held by a stop (25) such that the piston (8) can be displaced relative to the scraper ring (23). The inner diameter (d2) of the scraper ring (23) is less than the diameter (d0) of the boring (7) of the housing, and is also less than the diameter (d1) of the end (21) of the piston section (19), said end facing away from the housing (1), during the coolest operational state thereof. The scraper ring (23) is always pretensioned on the piston section (19) and thus reliably scrapes the leakage material off the piston (8) which is taken along by the piston when it protrudes form the housing (1).

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour influer sur le débit d'une matière plastique réchauffée de manière à pouvoir s'écouler, à travers un boîtier (1), notamment un dispositif de filtrage ou une unité de changement de direction pour la matière plastique. Ce dispositif comprend un canal d'écoulement (2) traversant le boîtier (1) et un piston (8), à section circulaire, guidé de manière à pouvoir coulisser longitudinalement dans un orifice (7) du boîtier (1) transversalement à la direction longitudinale du canal d'écoulement (2), ledit piston (8) traversant le canal d'écoulement (2). Un segment racleur non fendu est placé, à l'extérieur du boîtier (1), sur une partie de piston (19) faisant saillie par rapport au boîtier (1). Ce segment est maintenu par une butée (25) de sorte que le piston (8) puisse coulisser par rapport au segment racleur (23). Le diamètre intérieur (d2) du segment racleur (23) est inférieur au diamètre (d0) de l'orifice (7) du boîtier (1) et inférieur également au diamètre (d1) de l'extrémité (21), opposée au boîtier (1), de la partie de piston (19), dans la zone la plus froide de cette dernière pendant le fonctionnement. Le segment racleur (23) est sollicité en permanence de façon à prendre appui sur la partie de piston (19) et élimine ainsi de manière fiable, par raclage, le matériau de fuite adhérant au piston (8) lorsque ce dernier sort du boîtier (1).
