The invention provides methods and compositions for producing recombinant human Factor VII (FVII) comprising obtaining a Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cell line that expresses recombinant human FVII, culturing said CHO cell in serum-free media that lacks insulin wherein the production of said FVII in said CHO cell is comparable to the production of FVII in the presence of insulin.

L'invention porte sur des procédés et des compositions pour produire un Facteur VII humain recombinant (FVII) comprenant l'obtention d'une lignée cellulaire d'ovaire de Hamster chinois (CHO) qui exprime le FVII humain recombinant, la culture desdites cellules CHO dans un milieu exempt de sérum ne contenant pas d'insuline, la production dudit FVII dans lesdites cellules CHO étant comparable à la production de FVII en présence d'insuline.
