The locking screw (1) comprises a screw head (2), a screw shank (3) having a diameter (d) and a central line (4) that is defined as a connecting line of the centers of gravity of the axially successive orthogonal cross-sectional areas of the locking screw (1). The locking screw also comprises an exit point (5) on the screw head (2) and an exit point (6) on the free end of the screw shank (3), however, the central line (4) is not a continuous straight line. The inventive locking screw enables the elimination of play between the cross- boring of the intramedullary nail and of the locking screw.

L'invention concerne une vis de verrouillage (1) comportant une tête (2) et une tige (3) qui présente un diamètre (d) et un axe central (4) défini en tant que ligne de jonction des centres de gravité des surfaces de section de la vis, orthogonales, se succédant dans le sens axial. Elle présente en outre un point de sortie (5) au niveau de la tête (2) ainsi qu'un point de sortie (6) à l'extrémité libre de la tige (3). L'axe central (4) n'est pas rectiligne de bout en bout. La vis de verrouillage selon l'invention permet d'éliminer le jeu entre l'orifice transversal du clou centromédullaire et la vis de verrouillage.
