The Upper Canada Foot Rest is a free-standing portable foot rest for use in front of a simple chair, armchair, mechanical chair, love seat, couch, sofa or hide- a-bed that does not have an attached or built-in foot rest. The Upper Canada Foot Rest consists of two identical parallel X-shaped wooden frames joined by a number of wooden bars or slats between the two upper arms of the X-frames, while the two lower arms (or feet) of each X-frame sit on and are connected to a wooden rocker.
