Selon l'invention, l'élément tubulaire est formé d'une bande (6), qui est solidaire par une première portion latérale (6a) de ladite branche du U et dont la deuxième portion latérale (6b) est apte à être engagée à force entre la partie (3) à section en U du profilé et une partie (5) contiguë de celui-ci, pour former ledit élément tubulaire.
