A method is disclosed of repairing cracks (5) on a surface (6) of a component (1) such as gas turbine components. The method comprises the steps of repairing the cracks (5) of the component by brazing, detecting by any means remaining cracks (5) on the surface (6) or below the surface (6), which were not properly filled with braze material (7) during the repair brazing operation and repairing the crack zones with a focussed low-heat input welding method using an appropriate weld filler material (10).

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de réparer des fissures (5) formées sur la surface (6) d'un composant (1), tel qu'un composant de turbine à gaz. Ce procédé consiste à réparer les fissures (5) du composant par brasage; à détecter d'une manière ou d'une autre les fissures (5) demeurant sur la surface (6), ou en dessous de celle-ci (6), et n'ayant pas été remplies correctement de matériau de brasage (7) pendant l'opération de réparation par brasage; et à réparer les zones fissurées par l'intermédiaire d'un procédé de soudage à apport de chaleur faible et concentré, au moyen d'un matériau de remplissage de soudure (10) approprié.
