The invention relates to a suction hood, a) which sucks air from a first area a second area, in particular to the outside, b) wherein the hood comprises b1) first sucking means (64) which pulls the air to the suction hood by generating an at least substantially direct suction to the suction hood and b2) a second sucking means (62) which generates a substantially circular, cyclone or helix movement in the air, and a method for generating a air suction by means of a suction hood.
