A fluid cut control device includes a packer or bridge plug appended from and actuatable by a tool body which houses a setting tool, a fluid inquiry tool and a locator. The device allows an operator to selectively set a plug and immediately analyze the result of the placement. The plug may then be moved if the desired results are not achieved.
