The disclosure relates to an instrument (100) for implanting retinal tissue (120) into the subretinal space (80) of the eye (50). A tubular nozzle (110) having an open end (118) and an aperture (112) in a sidewall thereof for the acceptance of retinal tissue (120), is telescoped over a mandrel (106). Retraction of the nozzle (110) relative to the mandrel (106) biases the retinal tissue (120) out of the open end of the nozzle (110) to effect deposition of the retinal tissue (120) in a target area of the eye (50).

L'invention concerne un instrument (100) pour l'implantation de tissu rétinien dans l'espace sous-rétinien (80) de l'oeil (50). Une buse tubulaire (110) possédant une extrémité ouverte (118) et une ouverture (112) dans une paroi latérale de celle-ci, destinée à recevoir le tissu rétinien (120), est télescopée sur un mandrin (106). La rentrée de la buse (110) par rapport au mandrin (106) pousse le tissu rétinien hors de l'extrémité ouverte de la buse (110), de sorte que celui-ci (120) soit déposé dans la zone cible de l'oeil (50).
