The present invention relates to dermocosmetic compositions comprising a compound containing the structural element of the formula (1), in which the radical Z has the following definition: H, C1-C22 alkyl group, C6-C10 aryl group, C1-C22 alkoxy group or a C6-C10-O-aryl group substituted by a C1-C22 alkyl or C1-C22 alkoxy group, and the radicals R1 to R6 have independently of one another the following definition: H, C1-C22 aIkyl group, C6-C10 aryl group, O, OH, C1-C22 alkoxy group or a C6-C10-O-aryl group substituted by C1- C22 alkyl or C1-C22 alkoxy group, it being possible for R5 and R6 to be bridged in such a way as to form a five- to eight-membered ring, which in the case of a five-membered ring may be part of an oligomer through covalent bonds at positions 3 and 4. The invention further relates to the use of the specified compounds in dermocosmetic preparations and to the use of the dermocosmetics of the invention for reducing damage to skin or hair that is brought about by free radicals. A further subject of the invention relates to the use of the compounds of the invention for raising the shelf life of dermocosmetic preparations.

L'invention concerne des agents dermo-cosmétiques renfermant un composé comprenant l'élément structural de formule 1, dans laquelle le reste Z désigne: H, un groupe alkyle CrC22, un groupe aryle C6-C10, un groupe alcoxyle CrC22 ou un composé comprenant un groupe alkyle C1-C22 ou un groupe alcoxyle CrC22, un groupe aryle Cß-Cio-O substitué, et les restes R1 à R6 désignent, indépendamment l'un de l'autre: H, un groupe alkyle d- C22, un groupe aryle C6-C10, O, OH, un groupe alcoxyle C1-C22 ou un composé comprenant un groupe alkyle C1-C22 ou un groupe alcoxyle d-C??, un groupe aryle C6-C10 substitué où R5 et R6 peuvent être pontés de manière à former un cycle à cinq à huit chaînons, ledit noyau pouvant, dans le cas d'un noyau à cinq chaînons, faire partie d'un oligomère, par liaisons covalentes en position 3 et 4. L'invention concerne en outre l'utilisation des composés précités, dans des préparations dermo-cosmétiques, et l'utilisation des dermo-cosmétiques précités en vue de diminuer les nuisances, dues aux radicaux, à la peau et aux cheveux. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation des composés précités en vue d'augmenter la durabilité desdites préparations dermo-cosmétiques.
