The present invention relates to a video signal processor by which information included in video information displayed by a supplied video signal can be used without bothering the hand of a user. When an execution instruction input of a screen memo function is received from the user through a remote controller (100), a control part (20) controls a capture memory part (5) to fetch a displayed image as a static image. The fetched static image is supplied to a child screen processing part (9) and displayed on a child screen. The control part (20) recognizes characters of character information included in the image fetched to the capture memory part and stores them in an EEPROM (24) to be secondarily used.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement de signal vidéo permettant à un utilisateur d'utiliser l'information contenue dans les données vidéo affichées au moyen d'un signal vidéo fourni, sans recourir à des opérations fastidieuses. Lorsqu'elle reçoit une instruction d'exécution de la fonction mémo écran, entrée par l'utilisateur au moyen d'une télécommande (100), une section (20) de commande saisit une vidéo affichée sous forme d'image statique en commandant une section (5) mémoire de saisie. L'image statique saisie est envoyée à une section (9) fille de traitement sur écran et affichée dans un écran fille. La section (20) de commande reconnaît les caractères de l'information contenue dans la vidéo saisie dans la section mémoire de saisie et la mémorise dans une mémoire (24) EEPROM en vue d'une utilisation secondaire.
