The present invention relates to new salts of the single enantiomers of omeprazole, i.e. salts of (S)-5-methoxy-2-[[(4-methoxy-3,5-dimethyl-2- pyridinyl)-methyl]sulfinyl]-1H-benzimidazole ((S)-omeprazole) and (R)-5- methoxy-2-[[(4-methoxy-3,5-dimethyl-2-pyridinyl)-methyl]sulfinyl]-1H- benzimidazole ((R)-omeprazole) respectively. More specifically, the present invention relates to 1-cyclohexylethyl ammonium salts of the compounds, formed by a reaction of (S)-omeprazole and (R)-omeprazole respectively and 1- cyclohexylethyl amine. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing the compounds of the invention, a pharmaceutical preparation and a method for treatment of gastric related disorders by administering the compounds of the invention.

L'invention concerne de nouveaux sels des énantiomères uniques d'oméprazole, c.-à-d. des sels de (<i>S</i>)-5-méthoxy-2-[[(4-méthoxy-3,5-diméthyl-2-pyridinyl)-méthyl]sulfinyl]-1<i>H</i>-benzimidazole ((<i>S</i>)-oméprazole) et de (<i>R</i>)-5-méthoxy-2-[[(4-méthoxy-3,5-diméthyl-2-pyridinyl)-méthyl]sulfinyl]-1<i>H</i>-benzimidazole ((<i>R</i>)-oméprazole), respectivement. Plus spécifiquement, l'invention concerne les sels d'ammonium 1-cyclohexyléthyle des composés, formés par la mise en réaction de (<i>S</i>)-oméprazole et de (<i>R</i>)-oméprazole, respectivement, et de 1-cyclohexyléthyl amine. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé de préparation de ces composés, une préparation pharmaceutique et une méthode de traitement de troubles gastriques par l'administration desdits composés.
