A heating device for a beverage-making machine has at least one water pump for supplying water to a first continuous-flow heater for generating hot water and to a second continuous-flow heater for generating steam. It is possible here for the first continuous-flow heater to be switched over, if required, to steam generation and be connected up to the second continuous-flow heater. It is likewise possible for the second continuous-flow heater to be switched over, if required, to hot-water generation and to be connected up to the first continuous-flow heater. Also provided is a control means which is provided for controlling the switch-over operations and the connections between the continuous-flow heaters and is configured in dependence on entries input into an operating unit and relating to the previous operating state of the heating device. In comparison with conventional appliances, the configuration envisaged for the heating device also makes it possible, as required, to provide relatively large quantities of hot water or steam in a relatively short period of time.

Dispositif de chauffage pour une machine à préparer les boissons comportant au moins une pompe à eau (3) destinée à amener de l'eau vers un premier chauffe-eau instantané (4) en vue de la production d'eau chaude, et vers un deuxième chauffe-eau instantané (5) en vue de la production de vapeur, ledit premier chauffe-eau (4) pouvant, en cas de besoin, être commuté pour produire de la vapeur et raccordé au deuxième chauffe-eau instantané (5). De la même façon, le deuxième chauffe-eau instantané (5) peut, en cas de besoin, être commuté pour produire de l'eau chaude et raccordé au premier chauffe-eau instantané (4). Le dispositif comporte par ailleurs un système de réglage (16) pour régler les commutations et les raccordements des chauffe-eau instantanés (4,5), en fonction de données saisies sur une unité de commande (17) ainsi que de l'état de fonctionnement précédent du dispositif de chauffage. Comparé à des appareils traditionnels, ce concept de dispositif de chauffage permet, en cas de besoin, de fournir également de grandes quantités d'eau chaude ou de vapeur sur une durée relativement courte.
