The invention is a device for securing tow lines to a vehicle to allow the vehicle to be moved or recovered from a ditch. The device is designed to secure to and firmly grip the tire and wheel of the vehicle to be moved. It is fashioned as a 'basket- sling' of flexible chain/cable (combination) outside rails with chain and web-strap cross-ties between them to partially enclose the tire. It employs a slider-fink on one end of each chain/cable rail through which the opposite end passes to facilitate tightening (choking) of the 'basket-sling' laterally around the tire.
