The invention relates to a removable apparatus with several segments installed in a discharging lock used for the extraction of gold and/or platinum particles from pulp according their linear dimensions and weight. The elements of segments comprise an absorbent such as wood charcoal or foam plastics, a bottom grill, a selection of frames for sieves and several grills and sieves of increasing mesh dimensions for classification of particles with dimensions between 0,5mm and 4mm submerged beneath the predetermined pulp level. The thickness of the absorbent beds decreases in steps towards the exit and the number of sieves increases towards the exit in steps. The cross-section and the mesh size of the sieves decreases from top to bottom at each stage. Solid particles of gold- bearing ore being contained in pulp is fed continuously into the discharging lock provided with the removable apparatus wherein they are categorised according to linear dimensions.
